Curriculum

iLowerSecondary is part of Pearson's comprehensive iProgress programme for students aged 11-14. It provides a consistent learning journey for students and teachers worldwide, seamlessly connecting to International GCSE and International A-Level or GCE A Level. Designed for international middle schools, iLowerSecondary offers a structured yet flexible programme. It aligns with the latest teaching practices and provides the ideal foundation for future academic success. Developed with English as an Additional Language (EAL) learners in mind, it ensures all students can thrive.

Teachers have complete access to the ActiveLearn platform from Pearson Edexcel, providing resources and teaching materials, setting tasks, and learning-related games for students to do at home. Students also receive their own login, allowing them to access learning resources and educational materials. This interactive approach ensures that students can reinforce their learning and engage with the curriculum in an enjoyable and meaningful way.

Lower Secondary (S7-S9)

A warm welcome to the Lower Secondary section of our school, where our dedicated and qualified team of educators are committed to nurturing academic excellence and personal growth in our students. Through the implementation of the Edexcel Lower Secondary platform, which includes exemplified units of work, internally assessed progress evaluations, and externally assessed achievement tests, we aim to provide a rich and beneficial academic experience. With a focus on a wide range of learning objectives and a practical, student-centred teaching approach, we lay a solid foundation for the IGCSE programme. The Edexcel curriculum offers a diverse array of learning opportunities to enhance students' progress in each subject.

Beyond the classroom, students participate in stimulating outdoor activities, practical sessions, physical education, and extracurricular pursuits, enriching their overall educational experience. Students have the opportunity to select a few subjects based on their interests while continuing with their core studies, developing both academic and personal growth.
